Here is a timeline of our Arc, our journey so far. We have come a long way and we are proud of our achievements. We are excited to see what the future holds for us.

May 2024

📍 An Arc Has Begun

The first ideas of Campus Arc were born.

Fun fact 1: Before the Campus Arc was born, Hüseyin has watched the Social Network movie (the story of Facebook) exactly 4 times, inspiring him to build something that connects college students in a meaningful way.

Fun fact 2: The first "Evreka!" moment of Campus Arc was inspired by the first scene of the Scent of a Woman movie, where the main character is looking at the "Thanksgiving Weekend Jobs" board in his college.

Aug 2024

🥇 Rank #1 in EduFi Category

Campus Arc BETA has earned Rank #1 in the EDU Chain Hackathon Semester 1 in EduFi category.

The main solution of Campus Arc BETA was the Stake & Learn & Earn mechanism and OC-I verification which are built on EDUChain: A student has to stake 0.1 ArcToken (our own ERC-20 token) to register for an Arc Module. After this, they will start to be rewarded regularly until the module deadline. If they can successfully complete the module (that includes tasks, projects, etc.) by the deadline, they will be able to withdraw their stake with its reward. There were 4600 hackers and 725 projects from 6 categories in total. Campus Arc BETA earned 1st place in the EduFi category among 150+ other projects in this category. Only 40 projects were awarded with a prize.

Fun fact 1: Campus Arc BETA was built in only 7 days by Hüseyin Karataş and his main motivation to attend EDU Chain Hackathon was to push himself to find a blockchain-related educational solution (using advantages of Web3 for creating educational motivations) for the context of Campus Arc.

🎉 Invited to OC-I as Early Selection

After our success in the EDU Chain Hackathon, Campus Arc was officially invited to the OC-I (Open Campus Incubator) startup acceleration program as an early selection.

OC-I is a 12-week incubation program that provides early-stage teams with the worksho-based resources, mentorships, and comprehensive support they need to build a successful startup.

We are currently continuing our journey in OC-I with the support of a great team of mentors and advisors. We learn a lot from them and focusing on making progress on Product Market Fit (PMF) and building our Early Release version.

Oct 2024

👨‍💻 Early Release Development Started

The development of Campus Arc's Early Release version has officially begun, marking an important milestone in our journey. This version will introduce key features for students, communities, and companies, setting the groundwork for the platform's future.

The entire application is being carefully developed by Hüseyin Karataş, Campus Arc’s founder and lead developer. His expertise ensures a solid and innovative foundation for this exciting phase of Campus Arc’s evolution.

🤝 Early Phase Agreements and OC-I Grand Pitches

Campus Arc made significant strides during this phase by participating in the Open Campus Incubator (OC-I) Grand Pitches, presenting its vision to potential investors and partners. The team gained invaluable insights and feedback, strengthening the platform's roadmap and future goals.

In addition, several early-phase agreements were secured with key communities and companies, ensuring their future collaboration and support. These milestones mark an important step toward realizing the vision of Campus Arc as a decentralized, blockchain-powered educational platform.
